This is a post where people can either seek out a beta/cheerleader for Hikaru no Go works, or can volunteer their services as a beta/cheerleader for Hikaru no Go works.
(I'm setting this post up for the Big Bang, but please feel free to use this as a resource for other writing etc. :D)
You can certainly have multiple people help you, as well as volunteer to help multiple people, as everyone has different areas of strength and would be able to help better in some sections but not very well in others....
Also completely fine to make your own arrangements outside of this post!
What do you mean by cheerleader?
What some Big Bangs do, is addition to beta services, they have posts for cheerleaders.
ladiesbigbang Describes a cheerleader as follows:
So! The way I see this working is people post with what they are hoping for help for, what kind of help they are offering to give and people tag and work things out amongst themselves as appropriate!
This isn't a mandatory form, but somethings to keep in mind when offering/looking for services.

What kind of piece are you looking for help on?
What kind of help are you looking for?, eg, help with pointing out the weaknesses in an art piece, listening for problematic points in a podfic, help with ensuring Japanese culture is accurately portrayed in story, figuring out the relevant parts of history, making sure your go games make sense, beta for spelling and grammar, help with discussing overall arcing plot, cheerleader for helping to get out of a plot pitfall, cheerleader for listening to you angst... :P
Beta/Cheerleader:
Are you willing to consider cheerleading/betaing categories outside of fic (i.e., different types of creative projects)?
Categories/Types you're willing to cheerlead/beta for: Types of fic (Porn but no angst, etc etc), Art, podfic, etc, etc, etc
Type of betaing Cheerleading - being an open ear for the author, Beta - Plot, Go games, Japanese culture, spelling and grammar, Art (feedback on proportions, etc etc), Podfic (pointing out timing issues, pronounciation, etc etc.), Vid (timing issues).
Maximum number of creators you're willing to cheerlead for:

What is cheerleading / what are cheerleaders signing up to do?
Cheerleaders offer encouragement to a creator or beta. Cheerleading is not betaing; you are not necessarily signing up to view the project itself, though of course if you wish to, you're welcome to let the creator know you'd like to see what they are creating. You're primarily there to provide an ear for when the creator needs to discuss some of the issues that come along with working on a large-scope project and to provide general enthusiasm for the project.
How you cheerlead is your choice; just let your creator know what your availibility's going to look like (e.g., "I can talk once a week"; "I'm available every other evening"; "I prefer if we pre-arrange times to talk") and what methods work best for you (e-mail, chat, gdocs, etc.).
